As amusing as it is to watch presidential speeches about switch grass-based ethanol, it makes more sense to me to think about aquiring a plug-in hybrid car over the next decade. They can be charged overnight, using electricity generated during off-peak hours, and there is now a customized PT cruiser that can go 150 miles on batteries alone.

'this.childNode' not working?
If you are trying to get a javascript function to work using
this.childNode.foo
and it's not working, it's because the syntax is wrong.
Try this.firstChild.foo instead!
Guessing at the correct DOM element name to use doesn't always work!
Found this on Experts Exchange. Thansk ahosang for the answer.

OK - I just can't resist. I'm starting a "cute" section! I've never seen a pile of pandas like this!

In iPhoto 6, I've noticed that at times the red-eye correction seems to stop working. In older versions of iPhoto, you would select the red-eye tool, then select around the area to be corrected with the tool, and it would usually change the color of the appropriate red spots. However in the newer versions, you select the tool first, and then are instructed to click the center of each eye. This generally works, but on occasion it will not work at all, or only change one eye.
The solution is to select the recalcitrant eye BEFORE you click on the red-eye tool. This seems to get all the more resistant red-eyes that I have found so far.
