Interface/Skin Care:

• Monitor pressure points (bridge of nose, external nares) for skin breakdown every shift.
• Work with RT to ensure properly fitting interface.
• Remove device to provide pressure relief as tolerated by patient’s respiratory status.
• Apply skin-barrier to protect pressure points if needed.
