Windows Media doesn't play in a new install of Firefox

If you install Firefox in Windows, it may not play your windows media files, if there is no "embed" tag inside the object tag.

Firefox is now capable of addressing the Windows Media Player ActiveX control, but only if you install the ActiveX plugin, available at Adam Lock's Mozilla ActiveX Project page . Without the control, Firefox will play whatever is listed in the "Embed" tag, if there is one, but will not render the content of the "object" tag itself. With the control installed, Firefox responds to any scripted commands for the windows media controls you may have on the page.
